What NOT To Do With A Kettlebell...
Exercise #1) Double Handed Swing : The kettlebell weight should be of significant weight so that your entire body uses momentum to lift. Her weight is much too light to properly execute this movement, which could potentially harm the back during the lift.
Exercise #2) Clean and Press : Your hand should ALWAYS return to the rack position (hand at the sternum and the weight resting between the bicep and forearm). Also, notice the extension of her wrists, this position places pressure on the carpal tunnel and could lead to injury.
Her demonstration shows how improper use of the kettlebell can lead to potential injury. ALWAYS seek a Kettlebell Conditioning Specialist before EVER trying these exercises on your own!!
